Like Mother, Like Daughter

I have been thinking and fretting about window treatments in my kitchen. I have been looking over The Nester's window mistreatments for inspiration.

Then I saw what L did to her Barbie Dream House. This is a pair of gold pants hanging from a ceiling beam that she is using as curtains. What a great idea! Only the mind of a 6 year old could be that free and creative. The think The Nester would be proud!

L said she is a little worried that the pants might get blown away by the wind...inside the playroom!

Of course, the little wild man has some decorating ideas of his own. Everything looks better with a car!

  1. Hahaha... that wass o cute! She's a little decorator in the making! Are you sure it was intentional or was that some kind of wild party at Barbies?

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog- I just had to smile at your little decorator- sweet-hey, and now I have an idea as to what to do with my gold pants :}
    Happy Day

  3. This little sweetie is going to be a decorator! Adorable!!!

  4. It's always so funny to see when kids totally are copying us! I love the use of pants, very creative! My own daughter is not that old and has begged to have her own blog. As soon as I set it up for her she went and made a craft and then asked me to take pictures of it because she wanted to post it on her blog! Wow! Is she a minnie-me or what! Just reminds us that they are watching every move we make. FYI her 2 latest posts were dressing her little sister up as cupid (complete with a homemade bow and arrow) and then dressing her little sister up for the Princess' Ball (complete with tea party for the whole family). All of this had to be documented for her blog! So fun!

I love to hear what you think...
